BC's Responsible Driver Program is required for drivers who have received an Immediate Roadside Prohibition for blowing a fail, having been convicted of an alcohol related driving offence or who have multiple alcohol related driving events on their driving record. The program may also be required because the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles has evidence that the driver has an alcohol abuse or misuse problem. The program is meant to reduce the risk of repeat alcohol related crashes and convictions.
Entry into the program starts with a structured interview to determine the level of rehabilitation required by the driver. The interview will inquire into drinking and drug use relating to driving incidents, coping styles and personality characteristics, family and social life, education, employment, legal and medical history. There will be two outcomes: a referral to either the 8 hour education stream or the 16 hour counselling stream.
responsible driver program interview questions
We understand that you might be concerned about sharing information. Our security systems are state of the art, and your information is kept completely confidential. Questions answered during the screening interview will not be shared with anyone other than the necessary Stroh Health Care staff. Many people find that our program is supportive and ends up being a much more positive experience than expected. It is, however, important that you participate in the process. Refusal to answer the interview questions could result in an automatic cancellation of the interview or referral to the 16 hour program due to lack of information.
Following your screening interview, we will make a decision about which program we think is more appropriate for you based on your screening assessment and driving record. We will then send you a letter confirming whether you have been assigned to our 8 or 16 hour program. You should receive this letter within 1 month of your interview.
Teryn said being served an immediate roadside prohibition can trigger a lengthy and expensive process, including an automatic $250 driver's licence reinstatement fee, $500 fine, towing and storage costs up to a $1,000 and mandatory participation in the responsible driver's program at a cost of around $930. A review process is available, but can be difficult to win without the help of a lawyer, she said.

Driver Program in the Apache Spark architecture calls the main program of an application and creates SparkContext. A SparkContext consists of all the basic functionalities. Spark Driver contains various other components such as DAG Scheduler, Task Scheduler, Backend Scheduler, and Block Manager, which are responsible for translating the user-written code into jobs that are actually executed on the cluster.
This article covers the most commonly asked interview questions in Spark technology and helps the software engineers and the data engineers to equip themselves for the interview. The questions range from basic to intermediate to advanced levels based on the Spark concepts.
Spark applications are run in the form of independent processes that are well coordinated by the Driver program by means of a SparkSession object. The cluster manager or the resource manager entity of Spark assigns the tasks of running the Spark jobs to the worker nodes as per one task per partition principle. There are various iterations algorithms that are repeatedly applied to the data to cache the datasets across various iterations. Every task applies its unit of operations to the dataset within its partition and results in the new partitioned dataset. These results are sent back to the main driver application for further processing or to store the data on the disk. The following diagram illustrates this working as described above:
Worker nodes are those nodes that run the Spark application in a cluster. The Spark driver program listens for the incoming connections and accepts them from the executors addresses them to the worker nodes for execution. A worker node is like a slave node where it gets the work from its master node and actually executes them. The worker nodes do data processing and report the resources used to the master. The master decides what amount of resources needs to be allocated and then based on their availability, the tasks are scheduled for the worker nodes by the master.
In this article, we have seen the most commonly asked Spark interview questions. Apache Spark is the fastest-growing cluster computational platform that was designed to process big data in a faster manner along with the compatibility to previously existing big data tools and support to various libraries. These integrations help to build seamlessly fast and powerful applications with the power of different computational models. Due to these reasons, Spark has become a hot and lucrative technology, and knowing Spark will open doors to new, better, and challenging career opportunities for Software Developers and Data Engineers.
The Responsible Driver Program (RDP) in British Columbia is a remedial program for drivers who have received alcohol or drug related prohibitions on their driving record. The program from the Province of BC is provided by Stroh Health Care, and is delivered to drivers referred to the program by the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles.
Once the driver has completed the program, basic attendance information and program results will be sent to RoadSafety BC. Upon completion of the program, RoadSafetyBC will notify the driver in writing if they have passed the program to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles.
As soon as we submit our application to Spark job, the driver program is launched with its respective configuration. Then the driver program runs the main() method of your application and creates a SparkContext. Based on your application logic using spark context, transformations and actions are created. if(typeof ez_ad_units != 'undefined')ez_ad_units.push([[728,90],'sparkbyexamples_com-banner-1','ezslot_15',148,'0','0']);__ez_fad_position('div-gpt-ad-sparkbyexamples_com-banner-1-0');
Apache Spark driver or PySpark driver is also a machine that helps to process our application logic and implement the tasks. The driver program is the process where the main() method of our Scala, Java, and Python programs runs. It executes the user code and creates a SparkSession or SparkContext and the SparkSession is responsible to create DataFrame, DataSet, RDD, execute SQL, perform Transformation & Action, etc.
If you have a pending court date and are subsequently convicted you will need to take the three-part program for convicted impaired drivers at a cost of $894. Note: You will be taken to a secure form to complete the registration. Please make sure you are registering on a computer rather than a tablet or a phone. Internet Explorer is more compatible with the web form rather than Chrome, Safari or Firefox.
For offences that take place on or after September 30, 1998, the Highway Traffic Act requires convicted impaired drivers or drivers with 2 or more administrative suspensions to successfully complete Back on Track, Ontario's Remedial Measures Program, before their licences can be reinstated. Participants must pay a fee of $894 for convicted impaired drivers or $344 for administrative suspensions to cover the costs of the program.
NOTICE: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all program components are conducted virtually. At this time, there are no in-person appointments. Please contact the Back on Track Head Office if you have questions in regards to this at 1-888-814-5831
Juvenile Probation Officers assigned to Diversion are responsible for scheduling interviews with juveniles and parents to determine whether formal court action is necessary. If the juvenile takes responsibility for the complaint, the matter can be resolved in Diversion. If the juvenile takes responsibility for the complaint, the matter can be resolved outside the formal Court process. Consequences are given and a specific deadline for completion is determined. The consequences can include but are not limited to community service, monetary penalty, counseling and educational classes. If a juvenile denies the charge, a Petition Request is completed by the Juvenile Probation Officer and forwarded to the County Attorney for review. If the juvenile fails to complete the assigned consequences, a Petition Request is completed by the Juvenile Probation Officer and sent to the County Attorney. It is up to the County Attorney to determine if the juvenile will need to appear in Court.
CUTS is a Diversion program that assists juveniles with first and second truancy complaints by providing services which educate and address the individual needs of the juvenile and family. By addressing truancy issues at the juvenile's school with their parent/guardian and a school representative involved, the juvenile is held responsible, the parent is empowered and communication barriers are removed to ensure that the juvenile is successful and receives an appropriate education.
Juvenile Probation Officers assigned to Citation Diversion conduct citation interviews/hearings with the juvenile and parents. If the juvenile takes responsibility for the complaint, the matter can be resolved outside of the formal Court process. Consequences are given and a specific deadline for completion is determined. The consequences can include but are not limited to community service, monetary penalty, counseling and educational classes. The juvenile's driver's license may be suspended if the juvenile fails to appear for any of the citation hearings or fails to complete a consequence.
